Bwin to be presenting sponsor for the event A new leg of the World Poker Tour, a subsidiary of Bwin Party Digital, will be held in Prague, Czech Republic from Dec. 1 – 5, it was stated this week. It has been confirmed that the new event's presenting sponsor will be Bwin. The Euro 3,500 re-entry WPT Prague will be the first ever WPT Main Event held in the Czech Republic as a part of the inaugural Prague Poker Festival. WPT Prague will be the seventh European stop in WPT Season X and apart from the title, its winner will also be awarded a $25,500 seat in the 2012 WPT World Championship. According to Adam Pliska, president of the World Poker Tour, “WPT continues its commitment to expand throughout Europe. WPT Prague demonstrates our resolve to bring poker's premier tour to exceptional venues in major European cities. “The action promises to be lively on and off the felt as the famous party city is always a popular destination in the month leading up to Christmas.”
