EPT Prague Taken down by German Ace

Euro 720 000 for young German

The Euro 5,300 buy-in main event in the European Poker Tour Prague tournament ended this week with the win of Martin Finger, a 21-year-old business science student from Germany, who bested the field of 722 entrants and earned himself a nice paycheck of Euro 720 000, and a gold winner's bracelet worth Euro 10,000 – his biggest career earning to date.

Finger earned his seat in the tournament through a Pokerstars satellite. He played well throughout the action, and finally faced the final table which also comprised Dutch player David Boyacayin; Nicolas Levi of France; Spanish ace Guillen Usero; Denys Drobyna from Ukraine; Ari Engel of the United States; Andreas Wiese from Germany; and Danish pro Mads Wissing.

In the heads up, he clashed with a more experienced player David Boyacayin (32), who held really well until the very end. However, that was not enough for young Finger, who after the tough fight escorted his opponent to a second placing paycheck for Euro 535,000.
