Internet Poker Regulations Adopted in Nevada

Regulations’ approval achieved by unanimous voting

The Nevada Gaming Control Board meeting in Las Vegas produced a positive outcome for intrastate online poker in the state. The Board members voted unanimously and delivered 4-0 vote to adopt the draft regulations drawn up by Nevada Gaming Commission and previously ordered by Nevada Legislature.

These regulations are the first comprehensive regulatory standards for online poker in the US and possibly the basis for legal test cases for other states and the federal government which are increasingly going towards legalisation laws on internet gambling in general or poker in particular.
