Testing Agency Regulations Drafted in Nevada
The US state takes another step towards legalization It is another move forward for the online poker legalisation in Nevada, as its gaming control board announced the beginning of the drafting of supplementary regulations and requirements for the accreditation of private testing agencies, whose certificates will be accepted as supporting documents in applications for online poker licenses in the state. Apparently, the Nevada Gaming Commission will soon receive the regulations which need its final approval. It has been reported that a number of major industry companies have already filed applications for the license. The testing agency regulations and requirements should be ready by May 1 2012 so that interested testing laboratories can submit applications. This move is assessed as smart by many industry observers, who also pointed out that accrediting reputable testing agencies may lead to guarding against regulatory abuse by introducing a balance of interests, and at the same time enabling the licensing process to speed up.
