No More Delay of WSOP Final Table?
2012's championship may see a changed schedule After several years of separating the World Series of Poker main event final table action from the rest of the championship, its organizers Caesars Entertainment have finally indicated the intention to replace the unpopular 'delayed action' format, initially introduced in order to improve television viewership. A hint from the gambling giant arrived through a Twitter announcement on Jan. 31, which stated that the full schedule will be released on Feb. 1. However, it did not include any specifics, which will obviously be published later on. It is only widely guessed that the 43rd WSOP is to run from May 27 to July 16, 2012 at the Rio in Las Vegas and that it is supposed to top the 2011 event by over a hundred tables - 470 of them to be set this year. In addition, there have been reports that there will be no day off during the 2012 Main Event, and as mentioned above, that the November Nine format will not be repeated. Still, the final say will be heard in the official announcement.
