Kursevich takes home Euro 875 000
After the end of EPT Deauville, it has become clear that the list of top poker players has to make room for another name - the 24-year-old Belarusian Vadzim Kursevich who outplayed his opponents, went through the 12-hour final table and emerged the winner of the competition, taking home the top prize of Euro 875 000.
To be able to get to the heads-up with second placed Paul Guichard, Kursevich had to face opponents such as like Luca Pagano, Mick Graydon, Vuong Than Trong, Yorane Kerignard, Bruno Jais and Olivier Rogez.
In the heads-up, the defeated Guichard earned himself Euro 557 000, leaving Kursevich with his biggest career win to date.
