Groupe Bernard Tapie: Matusow owes $700 000 There has been a lot of talk about the immense amount of money owed by former Full Tilt Poker pros to the company - a reported $16.5 million in total. The debate continued on Feb. 8, when Groupe Bernard Tapie's legal representative, Behn Dayanim issued a statement claiming that Mike Matusow alone owed $700 000. In his Twitter response, Matusow immediately denied the claim which came from the Groupe's due diligence inspections in pursuit of its acquisition of Full Tilt. However, Dayanim also claimed that Matusow not only owes $700 000 but that he also has not responded to any of the attempts at starting a discussion about settling the matter. In addition, the lawyer was also the one to specify that the total owed by 19 top players amounts to $16.5 million.
