Conflicting statements arrive from different sides
Since the Everleaf Poker network, which announced the departure from the US market a couple of days back, so far has not provided any explanation for the move and the arrangements it has made for its American players to cash out, it was up to the skins to do the network's job and reassure players that they'll be paid.
In one such email communication, a spokesperson for Luvin Poker explained that the Department of Justice has not seized its funds so that the decision by Everleaf to exit the market was not triggered by any DoJ action.
In addition, the spokesperson assured the US players that their money is safe at Everleaf, and that it will be turned to the Lotteries and Gaming Authority in Malta to be distributed to the players. Also, it has been specified that Luvin Poker has not given up on US players and is trying to find a way to offer play-money games and tournaments to them. At the same time they promised that "Real money for U.S. players will be returning in the future," adding that at present the services to non-US players remain undisturbed.
