Damaged, but back where it belongs
After it was stolen from his home, Jonathan Duhamel's WSOP winner's bracelet finally found its way to its rightful owner – apparently, it was found abandoned somewhere in Montreal's Ville-Marie tunnel, where it got swept up by street cleaning vehicles, and then returned home.
It was Denis Theriault, an employee of the cleaning company, who had found the battered bracelet, and immediately informed the police. And even though much of the bracelet is missing or damaged, Duhamel was reportedly really glad to have it back, as he is sentimentally attached to it.
As for the thieves who deprived Duhamel of cash and jewelry, most of which is now back, they have already been convicted and are due to be sentenced soon.
