Poker 8.0, the first full-feature poker client for Mac, hits the market

A new update has been made to the online poker client of software provider GTechG2, which this week launched Poker 8.0, the market’s first full-feature poker client for Mac

According to the company, the product contains all game types and tournaments as well as cash tables, and comes with adapted keyboard shortcuts in the Mac poker client for use with Mac hardware.

In addition, there are innovative features such as the option given to players to benefit from the new Hand Replay option, and the Tournament Deal feature which enables those remaining in a tournament at the final table to accept a proposed deal to end the tournament prematurely.

Furthermore, Poker 8.0 brings improved player profile settings and statistics, such as categorization of an opponent’s skill level as ‘shark’, ‘medium’, ‘fish’ or ‘none’.

It has been assessed by Dominic Mansour, vice president of product management for the software company: “The developments on the latest version of our poker product have all been designed with a core aim of improving the player experience and we are very satisfied with the results.”
