Fast Poker Arrives at Unibet
Another poker operator opts for the fast-paced action In case of Full Tilt Poker it's called Rush Poker, its competitor PokerStars has opted for the title Zoom Poker, whereas Unibet has this week announced the launch of Relax Poker's Fast Poker product. You've guessed it – all of these are speed poker products. As the latest one to join the trend, the major European internet gambling group Unibet informed its players that they have a new choice – to sit at tables where players are taken to a new table to face fresh opponents when a hand is folded or completed, but also to take advantage of many bonus offers. The popularity of this format is undeniable – it's already accounting for 25 percent of Pokerstars' cash game activity, and according to the online poker giant's poker room manager Steve Day, the company is seriously considering replacing all high-stakes games with Zoom Poker tables. “In the long run, [PokerStars is] leaning very heavily towards possibly going Zoom-only for high-stakes games. That's a very real possibility at this point,” he stated.
