Everest Poker’s subsidiary may still need to wait for legalization in Massachusetts

In an interview given this week, a legal representative for Everest Poker's US subsidiary Cambridge Interactive Development Corp. spoke about the company’s ambitions and the progress in obtaining licensing in the state of Massachusetts.

Namely, according to Lawyer Ethan Park, even though CIDC would be interested in applying for an online gambling license in the state, it may have to wait for a while for a bill to be discussed and voted upon.

However, he opined that Massachusetts could introduce legalized online poker by the middle of next year, adding: “We will be very active in the legislative process.”
