Asia Poker Tour Philippines Goes to South African Pro
Two South Africans present formidable skill, reaching heads up This week's Asia Poker Tour Philippines ended in a very interesting and intense way when two South Africans confronted one another in the heads up of this $2,700 buy-in tournament. Namely, the grand finale of the event belonged to Divan Le Roux and Conrad Coetzer who outplayed a field of 54 entrants and the final table which also comprised Ryan Hong, Oliver Speidel (chip leader), Han Wook Kim, Nicandro Filart, Franklin Acfalle, Antonio Martins, David Steicke and Adam Monaghan. The heads-up was extremely intense and attractive, but it was a single card that decided the game in the end, in favor of formidable Le Roux who took home the $197,000 main prize, leaving his countryman with a consolation prize of $104,000.
