SCOOP wins boost Swedish pro’s earnings

The past week was a lucrative one for the famous Swedish online high stakes cash game poker player Viktor "Isildur1" Blom, who’s now on a lucky drive, considering his recent success and two big wins scooped in the Pokerstars' Spring Championship of Online Poker.

Namely, Blom first outplayed the starting field of 8,240 players in the $215 no-limit hold’em event, beating them to a winner's check for $247,000. Then he took down the $530 re-buy six-max no-limit hold’em for another $160,000 besting a field of 486 entrants.
