The World Series of Poker will make it possible for viewers to catch the 2012 WSOP in Las Vegas online by streaming 60 final tables.
A maximum of 3 final tables will be streamed per day with a 5 minute delay including commentary from David Tuchman and a whole host of player analysts. Live streams will not pick up on hole cards.
“It doesn't get bigger or better than the World Series of Poker,” said David Tuchman.
“I am excited and humbled to be working with the WSOP to bring the live stream to a hungry and growing audience”.
First in the streaming final table line-up will be Event 1, the Casino Employees tournament, on May 28th with continuous coverage until July 8th.
There will be two streams available based on six different cameras and commentary for the primary stream. Flop games will be the primary stream taking place on the main stage within the Amazon Ballroom at the Rio Hotel and Casino.
In the event that more than one final table is active on any given day, the alternate setup will be used. This will involve the use of two cameras in the style seen at the 2011 WSOP. The audio will come directly from the tournament director rather than a separate commentary.
The official WSOP website will list the full schedule of streaming.
