PokerStars’ Real Money Zoom Poker Undergoes Extensive Testing
Speed poker offering now includes Omaha, Omaha hi/lo and five-card draw This week, online poker giant PokerStars announced formal real money launch of its speed poker product Zoom Poker, specifying that the release was preceded by extensive testing in beta format. Thanks to these measures, the launch went smoothly, and already tens of thousands of players started playing on the poker site. Also, to attract more players and boost its numbers, the company introduced Omaha, Omaha hi/lo and Five-Card Draw into its Zoom poker offering, with stakes ranging up to $2.50/5. One of the big fans of this type of poker is team Pokerstars professional player Daniel Negreanu who commented: “Zoom Poker offers people a different way to play poker," he said this week. "Recreational players, who want more constant action, will be able to fold instantly and wait for better hands, while pro grinders will be able to get in hundreds of more hands an hour and win more. And it's just so much fun to play!” Some other developments involving the product also include Zoom Poker Mobile, already released on the Android OS for players on PokerStars' .com, .eu and .net domains, with a number of improvements to the original.
