Fresh Deck Poker goes live
As of this week, social gaming poker sector is richer by another member - Fresh Deck Poker, launched by US developer Idle Games, which has gone live on the Facebook freemium platform.
The game is powered by proprietary software engine, and involves Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) technology, enabling users to drop in and out of poker sessions, along with the option to play different types of poker, such as ring games, sit ‘n go’s and multi-table tournaments.
Online and mobile players will be able to enjoy the new product, which has the capacity to easily convert to real-money operation if the US legalize online poker or online gambling in general.
What’s more, one of the preparations for such a scenario is the creation of a separate company called Idle Gaming, which will deal with legal issues and licensing fees that may accompany the legalization. The company recruited experienced VP of Product Stuart Lewis-Smith, whose roll will be to help Idle Gaming prepare for real money action.
He has already had the game’s RNG tested and certified by Technical Systems Testing, and looked to the supervision of the initial setup of poker tournaments, which are at the moment free, with nice cash prizes to winners.
