China National Series by WPT in December

A new, inaugural World Poker Tour China National Series will be held at the end of 2012, it was stated by the company, which also specified that the event will take place at the MGM Grand Sanya Resort from 14 - 17 December.

The series organized in cooperation with the tour’s China partner Beijing Ourgame Ltd, represents the first WPT event in Asia.

It was stated by WPT chief executive officer Steve Heller: "We are very excited about the potential of this tournament as there are thousands of players in China who aren’t able to play in large tournaments such as this without having to deal with the expense and hassle of traveling out of the country.”
