After Antonio Esfandiari’s win in the WSOPE Euro 1100 hold'em event, it was French live poker pro Roger Hairabedian (60) who proved worthy to call himself a 2012 World Series of Poker Europe bracelet winner.
Namely, the Frenchman took down the third event, becoming the first among his countrymen to win an event in the WSOPE, where he had to best a field of 97 hopefuls, including big names such as Michael Mizrachi, Joe Hachem and Jason Mercier, all sitting at the final table of nine survivors.
However, none of them made it to the heads-up; it was down to Hairabedian and Ville Mattila to decide the winner of the competition. In the end, Hairabedian took the honors and the Euro 142 590 main prize.
As for the other final table finishes, they included:
2 Ville Mattila Euro 88 130
3 Michael Mizrachi Euro 62 749
4 Jussi Ryynanen Euro 45 581
5 Jussi Nevanlinna Euro 33 765
6 Joe Hachem Euro 25 490
7 Michel Abecassis Euro 19 606
8 Michael Schwartz Euro 15 357
9 Jason Mercier Euro 12 245
