Fourth Heartland Poker Tour Title for Raymer
The inaugural Heartland Poker Tour Belterra was very kind to poker pro Greg 'Fossilman' Raymer, allowing him to grab a Heartland Tour record with four poker tournament wins on the same tour in one year. He scoed the fourth title in the Florence, Indiana stop, where he took down the no-limit hold'em main event, outplaying a field of 283 and getting a healthy $106 030 for his effort. With this win and the other ones he took in the New Mexico, St. Louis and Prairie Meadows stops, he has also become the tour's all-time money leader. In the heads up of the Heartland Poker Tour Belterra main event, he defeated Cincinnati-based poker pro Jacob Bazely after a very tough session. As for the overall final table payouts, they were the following: 1 Greg Raymer $106 030 2 Jacob Bazeley $59 706 3 Bruce Ostrander $38 088 4 Iverson Snuffer $32 941 5 Jason Gwinn $25 324 6 Kenneth Hicks $20 588
