Hard Rock And Treasure Island Want In On the Online Action In Nevada
Two prominent Las Vegas terrestrial operators - Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and Treasure Island - have submitted applications to operate online poker in the State of Nevada hoping to join others already approved by Nevada gaming authority. Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's submission was made under BREF Interactive Gaming LLC, a subsidiary of parent company Brookfield Real Estate Financial, both firms planning to be in the market for partnerships with software providers for the provision of online poker software, but will need to pay a $500 000 fee for the application consideration. The long list of licensed operators in Nevada includes Boyd Gaming, Golden Nugget, Fertitta Interactive, WMS Gaming Inc, Shuffle Master, South Point Poker, American Casino & Entertainment Properties, International Game Technology, Global Cash Access, Bally Technologies and Monarch Interactive.
