Fund Raising Initiative for Final Table Poker

Fund Raising Initiative for Final Table Poker
Investors are sought for further development of a new social poker initiative Final Table Poker, it was announced this week. The poker game, developed by KibiApps primarily for Facebook, is based on real-life No Limit Texas Hold'em poker hands played by poker professionals in major tournaments and televised high stakes cash games. It lets players sit at the virtual final table and attempt to play the same way as the poker pro who played the actual hand, aiming at winning a major tournament. In order to develop the game to its full potential Kibiapps is now looking for funding via the Kickstarter funding platform for creative projects. It has been specified that whatever funds are collected through Kickstarter will be used to "add hundreds of interesting hands into the game, build fun tournaments and further develop the application to provide the most advanced gaming experience possible." According to Kibiapps co-founder and chief executive officer Sharon Shani, “There is currently no other poker game like this on the market. We wanted to create a game that appeals to true poker fans—players who want the experience of sitting down at the final table of a major tournament. Our team is made up of die-hard poker fans and that's why we are turning to other poker fans on Kickstarter to help bring Final Table Poker to the masses. Poker games are currently controlled by giants such as Zynga and others and it is stifling innovation. We think that with the help of the poker community we can bring something new to the market.”
