WPT Prague Ends With Polish Triumph
Over the weekend, World Poker Tour Prague ended in a great way for Polish ex swimming coach and now poker pro Marcin Wydrowski, who took the first WPT title for his country along with the $423,957 (Euro 325,000) main prize, and a seat at the WPT World Championships worth $25,000. The final table of the competition comprised Wydrowski and an experienced lot, such as Alexandr Lakhov, Bodo Sbrzesny, Tony Chang, Michael Gagliano and Alin Grasu. In the heads up, Wydrowski, who previously eliminated the favourite to win the tournament, Bodo Srbzesny, encountered the Russian runner-up, Alexandr Lakhov (40) whom he dispatched quite quickly and confidently, sending the Russian home with $278,866.
