Revolution Poker Network Supports Separated Poker Tables
The trend started by the iPoker network of partitioning online poker tables in order to protect less successful players from more experienced ones is now adopted by the Revolution international online poker network through the launch of its Fair Play technology. Revolution has divided its players into three groups - recreational, average and advanced - and now filters these groups to tables appropriate to their category, ensuring that recreational or 'fish' players do not encounter the 'sharks' who would have a significant advantage. As for the average players, the middle category, they can play at either the lower or higher tables, presumably having acquired sufficient experience and skill to play at either level. Fair Play goes even further with introducing new types of games appropriate for both recreational and advanced players. The concept of player segregation is becoming increasingly popular with online poker operators, and Party Poker is the latest company to experiment with it.
