As the latest MicroMillions 4 festival broke several of its own records in terms of the number of entries, main internet poker event was a big success where Pokerstars player 'Ges26' from Belarus claimed the online honors, as well as a hefty pay-check worth $140,468.56. A player from Mexico, Jason 'appst08' Brauda, was second for $80,232.90. The event has set new records with 68,081 entries and a prize pool of $1,361,620. All in all, the current MicroMillions 4 saw 1,572,760 entries and a total of $9,588,892.60 awarded to players throughout 100 online events. It was a busy weekend for Pokerstars anyway – the finalist of 2012 World Series of Poker main event, Russell "into2ndWind" Thomas, took down the $215 buy-in PokerStars Sunday Million for $219,184 after a three-way chop with Ahhh ls lt? in second place on $174,096 and aakiss1990 on $160,914. The company has also announced the schedule for its upcoming 2013 Spring Championship of Online Poker. It will feature two events more than last year and several new tournaments; SCOOP will run from May 12 to May 26, including all of the four new Omaha Poker games introduced by PokerStars last week.
