First L’European Football Poker Tour Sponsored by PMU

This week, French operator Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU) has become an official sponsor of the inaugural L'European Football Poker Tour (EFPT), a competition that enjoys the support of various poker, football and horseracing personalities whose main objective is to raise money for charities. The competition conceptualized by Philippe Gauthier will be held in Paris at l'Aviation Club de France from May 30 to June 2, 2013 and it will include a Main Event Euro 1,000 buy-in and a "Tournament of Legends" Euro 500 buy-in where all the famous footballers, jockeys and other personalities from the poker world will participate. According to Stéphane Auffret, marketing director for PMU Poker, PMU's association with a project that includes these disciplines and charity is of great significance, as the funds raised will support six charities that do not benefit from wide public exposure.
