Ultimate Poker is set to launch their online poker brand in Nevada this year and they've announced that poker pro Antonio Esfandiari has signed on as brand ambassador.
Esfandiari has a record of taking in $24 million in winnings during his career and holds two World Poker Tour titles, three World Series of Poker bracelets and a one-of-a-kind platinum bracelet earned at the Big One for One Drop 2013 when he walked away $18.3 million richer.
In a press release, Ultimate Poker said Esfandiari will be "the voice and weight of a true champion to a brand committed to becoming the players' choice for online poker."
"We're thrilled to have Antonio Esfandiari represent our company," said Ultimate Poker chairman Tom Breitling. "Antonio is the ultimate champion and modern poker player. He brings the gaming lifestyle to the online arena with his work-hard, play-hard attitude."
Ultimate Poker is also featured at Station Casinos and Fertitta Interactive in addition to being the Ultimate Fighting Championship's (UFC ) exclusive online gaming partner.
After UP received a license last year, Breitling said, "With our unique ability to leverage the overlapping demographics between online gaming, traditional gaming and the worldwide sports and entertainment brand of the UFC, Ultimate Gaming is ideally positioned to rapidly capture a significant following in the United States and throughout the globe.”
