The APAC $2200 Mixed Game event at WSOP Asia Pacific saw famous poker professional Phil Ivey take down his ninth World Series of Poker bracelet.
It's been a long way to the prize, as he faced Brandon Wong in a three-hour, 178-hands long heads-up after which he became the fourth, tied with Johnny Moss, on the all-time bracelet-winners' list.
Commenting on his win, Ivey said: “It ranks up there. The last [five] final tables I made I didn't win. I was getting very frustrated, so I was very happy to win this tournament.“This is my favorite place to play. I love coming down here, I love the feeling I have when I play here. Great staff, great dealers, and, you know, I love coming here.”
The final table results in the APAC Event 3 $2200 Mixed Game were the following:
1: Phil Ivey - $51 840
2: Brandon Wong - $32 039
