WSOP Online Poker Site Launch Accompanied by Big Promotions
This week, Caesars Interactive Entertainment introduced a range of promotions linked to its World Series of Poker site with which it will soon access real-money online poker market in Nevada. Namely, the company is offering punters who pre-register at the WSOP (.com) site at the Rio during this year's tournament a chance to get a share of the $700,000 prepared by CIE for the promotional activities. All pre-registered players will automatically get into the “36-Seat Giveaway” promo, where 36 luckiest punters will get a seat into the next day's first-up WSOP gold bracelet event, with the One Drop High-Rollers No-Limit Hold'em tournament hosting one of those seats, worth $111,111, while one of the other seats includes one for the $10,000 buy-in WSOP Main Event. As for the other promotions, they include the “Hot Seat” promotion, with $32,000 in budget, which is a randomly awarded $500 online account booster for players who have pre-registered and wear a WSOP patch to show it. There are also “Online Nine” and the “WSOP.com Online Championships" which will see some $500,000 in cash distributed to players in various events, which include a $100,000 Freeroll in October 2013.
