Two new events wrapped up at the 2013 World Series of Poker (WSOP) competition – Events 28 and 29, which recorded another Canadian and another veteran win.
In $1 500 No Limit Hold'em Event 28, 23-year-old Quebec student Jason Duval scored the seventh bracelet for Canada this year, bringing the country into the record books when he took down his heads-up opponent Majid Yahyaei.
For his trouble, the young Canadian got the winner's bracelet and $521 202 - a lion's share of the $2 855 250 prize pool generated by 2,115 entrants.

The following event, the no. 29 – H.O.R.S.E. competition saw Veteran poker pro Tom Schneider (53) dominate the action and give a lesson on winning in WSOP H.O.R.S.E. events – this was his second one this year, after event 15.
In order to get his fourth piece of WSOP jewelry, Schneider had to outplay numerous top-notch players, including Greg Mueller, Chris Klodnicki, Adam Friedman and David Benyamine.
Schneider eliminated his final opponent, Ben Scholl in heads-up which lasted until the early hours of the morning, and sent him home with a second placing check for $197,228, while he kept the $318,955 main prize for himself.
