Owner of Wine Collection at World Series of Poker?
A wine lover and the owner of a small business in Las Vegas Geno Foschi made the headlines after announcing that he plans to leverage part of his rare wine collection into entry fees for this year's World Series of Poker, The Drinks Business magazine reports. Foschi started collecting wines in his early twenties, and is now putting for sale 38 bottles from his collection of over 600 on Craigs List in order to play poker at WSOP. The lot, which Foschi says is worth $25,000, is on Craigs List for $13,000 and includes 13 bottles of Château Margaux 1984, five bottles of Château Lafite Rothschild 1984 and six bottles of Château Margaux 1982. All bottles have been stored properly and most have been in Foschi's ownership for more than 20 years. Should he manage to sell his wines, play in the WSOP and win, Fochi will invest his money into his business. As the big winners are likely to splash out on special treats to celebrate, Foschi's discounted wines could be sought after.
