Licensing Extensions Granted by Nevada Gaming Control Board
On Wednesday the Nevada Gaming Control Board approved three companies for six month extensions. These companies were previously granted preliminary approval for online poker licensing. The extensions were given to ACEP Interactive at the Stratosphere, South Point Poker and Monarch Interactive at the Atlantis hotel-casino in Reno to give the companies additional time to comply with Gaming Commission requirements in order to be eligible for licensing. Companies have 6 months to activate their licenses according to board chairman, A.G. He said that these particular companies are either holding out to see what occurs in the US online gambling market or are continuing to work on their products or systems.
