Poker Pros Take a Beating at Full Tilt’s Highstakes Tables
Well-known professional poker players were seen playing Full Tilt Poker's virtual nosebleed tables. Tom 'durrrr' Dwan, Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom and Gus 'The Great Dane' Hansen suffered the biggest losses with reports of hundreds of thousands of dollars taken by less popular but equally talented poker players. Hansen suffered the greatest loss at $534,618 in 2,367 hands on the $1,500/$3,000 2-7 Triple Draw and FLO8 tables bringing his total 2013 losses to a staggering $3.5 million Blom lost $255,062 while playing many of the same games as Hansen. Dwan let go of $210,393 while at the $400/$800 NLHE tables. With such significant losses, there were three players that benefited including Denoking (up $214,000), Patrik Antonius (up $205,000) and Niklas “Ragen70” Heinecker.
