Vitaly Lunkin Wins Barcelona Super Highroller Event
Russian poker pro Vitaly Lunkin had a successful weekend at the Euro 50,000 buy-in European Poker Tour Super High Roller where he won €771,300 and started off the 10th season of the PokerStars series with a bang. There were a total of 51 players registered for the Super High Roller that took place in Barcelona over the weekend. The final table was comprised of Lunkin and Erik Seidel, Steve O'Dwyer, Mike McDonald, David Benefield, Ole Schemion and Fabian Quoss. Eric Seidel had a slight chip lead as he went up against Lunkin in a back and forth that lasted for hours. Lunkin managed to pull ahead and take top prize which boosted his career winnings to more than $5 million. Seidel pushed his career winnings to over $18 million with his second place €557,100 win.
