Spanish Regulator Supports International Player Pools
Carlos Hernandes, director of Spanish online gambling regulator DGOJ, has publicly shown support for shared international player pools and hopes for an arrangement in the coming year. Hernandes spoke with Spanish poker information site PokerRed regarding the subject of international player pools having been held with French, Italian and Danish regulators. As the pros and cons are discussed there will be another three meetings scheduled in the coming months. He believes that there is more player protection in keeping things as is; however he realizes that business is on a downtrend and expanding the market may be the solution. Hernandes assures that there is plenty of work ahead before this becomes a reality.
