Party Poker released the dates and the first two registrations for the Premier League VII $125,000 WPT special event at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal from the 20th – 26th November 2013.
The event is scheduled before the $3,500 + $350 partypoker.net WPT Montreal tournament scheduled for 29th November – 5th December 2013.
Player feedback has resulted in some changes that will see 12 players playing 6 eight-handed heats, with each participating in a four league match showcasing the point system ($2,000 per point).
The 4 top players will make it to the final table while those in 5th – 8th place will go head to head in the best of three heads-up matches to secure a place in the six-handed finale with a $350,000 prize.
Last year's event included the following poker talent: Jason Mercier, Tobias Reinkemeier, Sam Trickett, Phil Hellmuth, Daniel Negreanu, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, Jennifer Tilly, Tony G, Scott Seiver, Daniel 'Jungleman' Cates, Igor Kurganov, Marvin Rettenmaier, eventual winner Dan Shak, Talal Shakerchi and Jonathan Duhamel.
