PokerStars Remains Tight Lipped on Cheating
PokerStars has had some trouble this week with reports of cheating on the mid-to-high stakes PLO virtual tables. PokerStars has indicated that its lawyers have advised not to release information on the cheaters and work with police to aid in investigation. It was also advised not to disclose the games in which the cheating took place. In a statement, PokerStars said that it and other Isle of Man licensed operators must report media coverage of cheating related to it the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission. This could result in the launch of an investigation of its own.
