Aussie Millions to Join PokerStars Asia-Pacific Tour in 2014
The Aussie Millions poker tournament main event will join the PokerStars Asia-Pacific Poker Tour in 2014. The 16th Aussie Millions tournament kicks off on January 23rd with a A$10,600 buy-in main event on February 2nd plus A$25,000 buy-in Challenge; A$100,000 buy-in Challenge and A$250,000 buy-in Challenge events. "The Aussie Millions is regarded as one of the marquee poker events globally," Crown Resorts chief operating officer Xavier Walsh said. "Aligning with the biggest poker tour in the region, the Asia-Pacific Poker Tour, will further guarantee the event's success in coming years. "This initiative will provide Crown with significant exposure in Asia, Europe and America, and forms an integral part of Crown's global marketing strategy to attract further international visitors to Australia and Crown Melbourne."
