Dmitry Holdeew, of Germany, earned his spot in the Eureka Prague main event by by tking part in the PokerStars satellite competition and took the top spot for a grand prize of €226,400.
Holdeew went up against a pool of 1,314 participants to make it to the final table with Stephen Chidwick and Mark Dalimore from the United Kingdom; Czech players Milan Simko and Jaroslav Peter; Marcin Horecki of Poland; German ace Johannes Tiefenbrunner and Canadian player Ami Barer.
Barer and Holdeew faced off for two hours in the heads up but in the end it was Holdew who reigned victorious. Barer took home the runner up prize of €131,400.
