German player Julian Thomas beat out 305 hopefuls winning the main event of the World Poker Tour Prague and top prize of $283,827.
Thomas didn't start off in the led at the final table with Vasili Firsau from Belarus; Russian player Andrey Shatilov; Gintaras Simaitis from Lithuania; Serbia's Ognjen Sekularac and Valeri Savov from Bulgaria.
Thomas faced off against Firsau and Shatilov and the excitement came to a head when Shatilov was eliminated and took third along with $116,982. It wasn't long before Firsau followed.
This marks Thomas' largest live tournament win to date.
