Merge Poker Network Restricts New Jersey and Delaware Players
It appears that the Merge poker network is restricting players from the states of New Jersey and Delaware whether new or existing. The reasons for such a restriction are unclear despite the fact that Nevada, New Jersey and Delaware have legalized online poker. A Carbon Poker spokesman did not provide an explanation; however did confirm the decision indicating that it was made with "state restrictions” in mind. It is possible that Merge has concern for legislative provisions in the two states which make operating an unlicensed online gambling site illegal.
