Location of PKR Live Mixed Max Announced

PKR.com announces that its $500 buy-in PKR Live Mixed Max will be held at the Aspers Stratford Supercasino on March 28th – 30th. A PKR spokesman explained that the change in the NLHE location was brought on by the success of the format in the World Series of Poker starting with 9-seat tables on Day 1 and switching to 6-seat tables on Day 2. Day 3 brings the heads-up shoot out once 16 players are left. Players will be matched up based on chips with the chip leader going against the shortest stack, the second largest stack against the second shortest stack etc. PKR's head of PR Dan Grant said, "Mixed Max is a real test of versatility and one we hope both our own players and the UK poker circuit will embrace. There are so many live tournaments on offer in the UK and Europe so it's important to be distinct. With the combination of social atmosphere, affordable buy-in and pioneering format, I think we've managed it!" Registration is open via PKR's software for $500 or players may win a $500 seat or $800 package by taking part in satellites beginning at $0.60.
