Infiniti Poker Chief Exec Finally Speaks
Michael Hajduk, chief executive of the currently shuttered Infiniti Poker site, finally speaks out. Damage is already done since it is been two weeks since the last time Michael addressed the public. He assures players their money is safe and blames everything on unspecified bureaucracy. Players were worried about their account balances since February, when Infiniti Poker mysteriously went offline. The site launched late last year, accepting conventional and virtual currency. Hajduk insists that Infiniti Poker didn't go down because of Bitcoin crises at Mt.Gox, as it has been speculated on the internet. Players are being assured that their funds are safe and will be accessible soon. Michael claims he is the victim of, quoting "offshore institutional bureaucracy". Hajduk stated he didn't have the technical capability to keep the site open, due to his "operational capital reserves" being locked down because of bureaucracy. Hajduk should be concerned, with the effect his two- week -disappearance will have on already careful poker players, and with all of this happening in a highly competitive online gaming industry. There is obviously a need for better and more transparent exchanges if he means to succeed.
