This weekend Danish poker pro Gus Hansen won $850,000 while playing online at Full Tilt Poker which barely puts a dent in recovering his $17 million in total losses.
Hansen showed off his poker skills against nosebleed stakes players like Dan “jungleman12” Cates, Phil 'Polarising' Ivey, samrostan, Follow the Hawk and ragen70 on the 2-7 Triple Draw, PLO and Six Max virtual tables.
One of the weekend's biggest online losers was Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom when Doug Polk took $236,000 from him on Full Tilt's $1,000/$2,000 Cap NLHE tables.

Lost $17 million, it's too much I think. If he comes to positive balance, he will be senior poker player. He was 40 years old on 13th February.

Now a great win of $850,000 makes an impression on everyone in the poker world, maybe will put him forward towards another big wins, let's hope. He's a good player despite his worse form for recent months.
