New York grinder Carlos Alvarado was the big winner at the $560 buy-in No-Limit Hold'em Reentry event at the World Poker Tour Borgata Spring Open live tournament. He knocked out 2,500 hopefuls earning a $127,652 check after a four-way chop. Seated at the final table was Alvarado facing Adam Pace, Kevin Grabel, Philip Neiman, Mitchell Mantin, John Yanni, Zbigniew Fido, Matthew Itkin and Mikhail Mironenko. During the four-handed stage, Pace, Neiman, and Grabel agreed a four-way chop with Alvarado giving each player $127,652. In the end Alvarado and Pace were in the heads in which Alvarado earned the top spot.
