Molly Bloom, 36, known as the "Poker Princess" for her involvement in a 2013 illegal poker ring bust in New York avoided jail time when she was sentenced by Judge Jesse M. Furman.
The court heard about her small part in the $100 million gambling ring to which Bloom pleaded guilty and forfeited $25,000. Judge Furman fined her $1,000 with 1 year of probation and 200 hours of community service.
Bloom's sentencing comes after hefty jail sentences were handed down to others involved in the gambling ring.
