Director Purchases Movie Rights to Daniel Tzvetkoff’s Biography
The story of online poker e-cash processor Daniel Tzvetkoff will be hitting movie screens after director Robert Luketic acquired movie rights to the biography "Alligator Blood". “I can confirm that Robert Luketic has made an offer for the movie rights and the offer has been accepted,” according to Poker News. “The current situation is that my agent in Los Angeles has received the contract and is in the process of fine-tuning it before it is signed. However, the script has already been written and Rob is hoping to start the process of casting etc. when he has finished working on The Expendabelles, which he is shooting this summer.” Leighton said of Tzvetkoff in a previous interview: “He was a regular guy who had this gift for spotting niches in technology, which he exploited to the full. He was friendly and extremely generous. He wanted to be Vinny Chase from Entourage. He loved the show and tried to replicate that lifestyle. "Most guys in their twenties, with that much money, in an environment like Las Vegas would probably lose their head; and that is exactly what happened to him, except it had very serious consequences for thousands, if not millions, of people around the world.”
