David Miscikowski Earns First Bracelet in WSOP Event 49
San Diego poker pro David Miscikowski won his first WSOP bracelet and largest payout of $719,707 in Event 49, a NLHE competition with a prize pool of $3,271,200. The event had 696 registrants with a $5,000 buy-in. The final table consisted of Miscikowski, Norbert Szecsi, Blake Bohn, Margareta Morris, Oliver Price, Manig Loeser, Jean Gaspard, John Dolan and Kevin MacPhee. Miscikowski entered the heads up against Norbert Szecsi, a 2013 WSOP bracelet winner. The two battled it out with the lead continuously changing when finally officials called for an additional day. They picked it up on Saturday with Miscikowski approximately a million chips ahead eventually knocking out Szecsi and sending him home with the second place prize of $444,425.
