Online poker blogger Marco Valerio reported that a former San Diego tribal land casino operator intends to launch a new online poker site called PrivateTable.com.
The Iipay Nation of Santa Ysabel has received licensing from the Santa Ysabel Gaming Commission.
The word is that the Kahnawake Gaming Commission is also involved in a inter-jurisdictional agreement with Santa Ysabel Interactive, the company responsible for tribal site.
Two online poker regulatory bills have reached the committee stage in the California legislature with a third proposal on the way.
If the bills are to be successful they must receive approval prior to August 31st.
