The 12th edition of the World Poker Tour kicked off at The Bicycle Casino in California this week.
A total of 593 hopefuls entered the Legends of Poker event with a $3,700 buy-in for a prize pool of $2,172,999.
Some of the big names that participated were Phil Laak, Greg Mueller and Layne Flack; however they did not make the final table.
Mike Eskandari faced off in the heads up against local pro Harut "Harry" Arutyunyan. In the end Eskandari was sent home with the runner-up prize of $330,110 leaving Arutyunyan in first place with $576,369; a $15,400 seat into the season-ending WPT World Championship; Bicycle Casino's Wild Bill Hickok trophy; a Hublot watch; gold headphones; and the WPT Champions Trophy which will be engraved with his name.
